The Dakota Territory Air Museum’s razorback P-47D made its public debut with its fresh paint scheme at the museums Festival of Flight event on June 17, 2023. The P-47 was restored at Aircorps Aviation, was painted at Custom Aircraft Refinishing, Inc. and is a part of the Bruce Eames Collection of warbirds at the museum. The P-47 will be out on the airshow circuit at least until the end of August with planned appearances at the EAA Oshkosh Airventure and Thunder Over Michigan. This is the only Republic-built, razorback P-47D that is currently flying in the world today.
